The Democratic Image Blog continues to attract high level discussion.
Bitmapping is taking off - if you have a mobile phone witha camera you can participate in the creation of a photographic story, and see your work on the walls of a gallery.

an audience with four experts, photographers Ian Beesley, Karen McBride, curator Greg Hobson and writer Paul Taylor, investigating career options for today’s photographers. FRI 27 APR 6–8:30pm; Launch of Inbetween Spaces. This citywide project puts images on billboards of things we would not normally see there. Bus tours start from the venue at 6:30 and 7:30pm. More details.

Look 07 Reception: All Redeye subscribers are welcome to the Look 07 reception in galleries 1, 2 and 3 at Cornerhouse, 70 Oxford Street, Manchester M1 5NH, on Saturday 21st April at 6:30pm till 8:30pm, for chat, drinks (pay bar), and tours of Do Not Refreeze with the curator. Please mention you are a Redeye subscriber at gallery reception.
The Immediate Retrospective Company - emerging photographers from Manchester Metropolitan University will display new work, opening at 7pm on the 24th of April at the Sandbar, 120-122 Grosvenor Street, Manchester.
