Redeye presents our spring/summer edition of DEVELOP - MAKE - CONNECT - SHOW, photography events to inspire, support and educate.
With talks from the best new talent in photography, creative and technical workshops and a platform to share your ideas with leaders in the industry, these events provide the opportunity to immerse yourself in photography and develop your practice.
About the programme
Our spring/summer 2017 programme is deliberately far-reaching and unexpected. We know we have a diverse community, with diverse interests, and we want our programme to reflect this. To help you navigate our events, we've split the programme into four strands based on the photographic process; DEVELOP – MAKE – SHOW – CONNECT. Find out more about each strand below.
DEVELOP. When creating a photographic project, development plays an integral role. From researching the idea to acquiring funds, it’s important for photographers to put aside time to advance their work or business. DEVELOP events examine this process, providing examples of successful ideas-generation, proposals, bid-writing, and business development.

MAKE. This series of events explores the process behind creating an image or project. With technical workshops, and an exploration into the creative process of some of the world’s best-known photographers, the MAKE series encourages you to get your hands dirty, and to explore what it means to make a photograph.
Whether you are an enthusiast or just want to try something new, these are creative and technical workshops with a contemporary outlook.
CONNECT. Collaboration is more important than ever. CONNECT events open up new avenues for interdisciplinary work, providing a chance for photographers and artists to meet, greet and share ideas, and learn more about the collaborative process.

SHOW. An image becomes something when it is seen. The SHOW series reveals innovative and exciting new work from a diverse selection of photographers and artists, and explores the process of exhibiting work.
