The first in a series of seminars, Making it Happen, will take place on 26 November and is designed to help you make it to the next stage in your photographic career by looking at models for self-funding, print sales, publishing and curating.

The seminar is strictly limited to 35 people and will feature four speakers – Rob Hornstra, Laura Noble, Judah Passow and Bas Vroege – advising on how to make your ideas a reality and examining the creative and practical challenges faced by photographers working today.

An exciting new element has been added to the previous format of Foto8 seminars in which, at the end of the four presentations, participants will be put into groups and given the opportunity to show and speak about their work and receive feedback from the speakers – creating a more open and valuable experience for participants.
