Searching is a photography book ‘curated’ by Google Images.

The book is a visual translation of the selection made if you search on Marc Provins. One book is being donated to each of the libraries in central Liverpool. Maps are being distributed around the city to help people find them. The title of this work refers to search engine technology, it is also a reference to being a photographer and the constant scanning of the world, thirdly it refers to the process of searching the stock of a physical library, in this instance for a book entitled Searching.
