Photoworks Summit is the place for photographers, creatives and arts professionals to gather and explore ‘The Thing’ about photography; from festivals to photobooks and across creative and professional practices.
FORM is a new collective of seven artists working with photography and visual arts, based in Manchester, Birmingham, rural Yorkshire, London and Liverpool. New work by each collective member will be shown for the first time from September 29th 2018 at Brighton Photo Fringe. The collective came together as part of Redeye's Lightbox programme.
Join FORM in the Phoenix, Brighton on Sunday afternoon, 30 Sept, for a panel discussion with members of the collective and Paul Herrmann, director of Redeye.
Seven Day Suit is a new collective exhibition, bringing together seven emerging photographers for the first time at Brighton Photo Biennial 2016. Responding to the festival's theme Beyond The Bias, the group will deliver an innovative exhibition of photographs and moving image, exploring the cultural phenomenon of the tracksuit.
Second Skin addresses the ambiguity of identity and the human capacity for social disguise. Through their photographic exploration Strand Collective have come to see these not as a form of deception but rather a natural and necessary adaptation enabling people to manage complex social and psychological situations.
