The speaker is Adam Lee.
Adam will be discussing various themes relating to his travels including Markets, Easter in Colombia, Travelling the Jungle by Boat, and Hitchhiking. He was born in London in 1981 and has a BSc Hons in Applied Zoology from Liverpool John Moores University (graduating in 2002). Since then he has travelled in South East Asia and Latin America as well as working for his former university.
Adam initially studied photography at the Liverpool Community College under Alan McKernan and David Brooks and has won various awards for his work, including two from the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP), in addition to the Grovesnor Competition, a competition run by the Grovesnor Company (the Duke of Westminster's company) to document the redevelopment of Liverpool's city centre.
Adam’s main photographic interests however relate to photojournalism, travel, landscape and architecture. As such Adam will be discussing his recent extensive travels in the Americas, (Feburary 2007 until April 2008). Here Adam travelled from New York, USA to the Southern tip of South America and then back again, a distance covered almost entirely overland.
