To coincide with Chinese Arts Centre's first UK solo show of Taiwanese artist Wu Chi-tsung, Redeye and Chinese Arts Centre have come together to deliver a one-off photography masterclass and workshop session with the artist.
Wu Chi-tsung is an artist truly fascinated by images, both by how they are made and how we see them. Through playful explorations of the processes behind still and moving image making, Chi-tsung's varied practice allows for fluid and exquisite bodies of work to present themselves across the realms of installation, video, photography and more recently set design.
For this photography masterclass session the artist will be focusing on his Wrinkled Texture series which are formed from cyanotype photographic techniques of direct sunlight exposure, to explore the aesthetics of traditional Chinese landscapes. The masterclass workshop will include a curator's tour of the exhibition, an artist's presentation and practical demonstration and practical workshop playing with the possibilities of cyanotype processes on anything and with anything!
This event is recommended for any photographer or artist at any level who would like to be more experimental in their work.
This event is now full. However, if you would like to register for the waiting list, please click Register Now below and you will be taken through the process.
