Hothouse is back for 2023 and this time we are in Hull!
Join us for a day of celebrating sustainable photography. 16 speakers will share their photographic practice in quick-fire presentations over the course of a full day. This year we are in partnership with Humber Eco Fest and Hull Independent Photography Festival.
Throughout this event you will hear from photographers capturing climate change visually within their work to those photographers who are fostering a change in their photographic process to become more sustainable. Their lens is not limited to documenting visually but extends to the innovative strides of sustainable practices within their field, embracing climate aware photographic techniques, materials, and ethical principles in their photographic practice. They will shed a light on our planet’s fragility and resilience, inspiring action and building a stronger connection with the world we inhabit.
