Applicant Insight Webinar

The Churchill Fellowship held an Applicant Insight Webinar on 20 September, for anyone interested in applying for a 2024 Fellowship. The webinar included presentations from their team on what a Fellowship entails and how to apply and there was an opportunity to ask questions.

They were joined by two Churchill Fellows, Zara Todd (CF 2016) and Arfah Farooq (CF 2017) who shared their experience of their own Fellowships and top tips for making a successful application.

Churchill Fellows are dedicated and dynamic individuals with a vision for change in their community or sector. Churchill Fellowship support their mission by funding them to explore innovations around the world and then helping them to put their ideas into practice in the UK. This can be done in person or online.

The benefits of a Churchill Fellowship
The Fellowship experience is life-changing for many. In Churchill Fellowship's annual survey of Fellows' impact, the majority report significant growth in their knowledge, networks, confidence and standing – and projects that may have started with local aspirations have often grown to national scale. In addition, 100% of Fellows said they would recommend applying for a Fellowship. Many Fellows are already using the arts and creative practice across a range of issues, effecting change at different levels throughout the UK, based on their global learning. Who can apply?
This life-changing opportunity is open to all UK resident citizens aged 18 or above, regardless of their background, qualifications or age. Churchill Fellowship is looking for people with the passion and potential to make a real difference to their community or professional sector, and they assess on future possibilities not past achievements. They prioritise those who would not receive funding from any other source and they can provide extra assistance for those with additional needs.
