Open Eye Gallery seeks exhibition submissions from new and emerging photographers

With the support of the Brian Mercer Charitable Trust, Open Eye Gallery will host an annual open exhibition for the next 3 years. The first of which will coincide with Look/15.

Championing emerging talent, Open Eye Gallery aims to give a platform to projects that haven't been seen before

FreshFaced + WildEyed 2015

Established in 2008, the annual exhibition and competition FreshFaced+WildEyed gives emerging talent the opportunity to exhibit their work at The Photographers’ Gallery. Showcasing the quality and breadth of graduate work from visual arts courses across the UK, the exhibition and relating programmes celebrate the innovative practices from a range of photographic fields.

Kooshk Artist Residency Award (KARA 2015)

The Kooshk Artist Residency Award has been implemented to support artists, creativity and the development of new ideas in the unique space of Tehran. This Residency program is a chance for attendants to do research and experiment, develop professionally maintain direct dialogues and the exchange of ideas in order to grow and nurture their creativity, and try new methods of working and thinking. The Residency will be an annual event lasting one month and will be offered to four active artists of the visual arts, dramatic arts, music and cinema.

Call for submissions for Manchester After Hours

Manchester After Hours is a celebration of the arts after hours across Manchester locations, taking place on 14 May 2015. The theme in 2015 is Odd Couplings.

We are putting together a digital presentation of photography for this event, and offer three cash prizes plus memberships for the top three submissions.
