The AOP Student Awards 2017, is a celebration of the best of those studying photography, helping to provide that all important step up to the professional arena. By supporting new emerging talent, the Awards are an opportunity to get a first look at the potential stars of tomorrow.

The Awards open for entries on 23 January and close 7 April 2017, and are sponsored by Fixation and Flow Photographic. The presentation this year will take place in July at DAM; downstairs at Mother London, a leading creative agency.

The Awards carry three simple briefs; People, Places, Things.

Curators, Rachell Smith, Howard Kingsnorth & Karl Taylor, will select a Best in Category plus an overall Best in Show. 

The Awards are open to all students who are studying a course that includes photography (this may not necessarily be a full-time photography course)
